The DynamicOrgan^® Spheroid Kit includes all the consumables required to combine a barrier with spheroids or organoids in one multilayer organ model, such as a vasculature with a tumor:

KIT vs. SYSTEM

You can choose between Kits and Systems, where the kit only includes the consumables, and the system also includes a peristaltic pump.

SIZE (S, M, L)

There are different sizes available, indicating the number of included biochips:

S: 10x 3-channel biochips
M: 25x 3-channel biochips
L: 50x 3-channel biochips

PORE SIZES

For each size, you can choose between four different pore sizes of the PET membrane of the biochip: 0.4 µm, 3.0 µm, 5.0 µm, and 8.0 µm.

The pore size of the microcavity PC membrane is always 2 µm.

THE BIOCHIP

The DynamicOrgan^® Spheroid Kit hosts the 3-channel biochop that contains two membranes (1x porous, 1x microcavity), dividing the culture chamber into a top channel (140 µL), a middle channel (200 µL), and a bottom channel (150 µL), which are accessible via standardized Luer ports. The middle channel with the microcavity membrane can host up to 25 spheroids or organoids. Cell suspensions, coatings, and gels can be introduced into each channel, enabling the creation of cell layers on both sides of the porous membrane. The separation of the channels allows the use of different media with individual flow rates per channel. There are two test cavities per biochip.

The biochip has microscope slide format for easy visualization under the microscope.

APPLICATIONS

The DynamicOrgan^® Spheroid Kit has many applications, but is particularly suitable if you need your spheroids or organoids to be aligned in a single layer rather than randomly distributed inside the channel.
